Imee

Philosophy & Ethics, Drama & Theatre, English Literature, Modern History

I enjoy the debates in class; it often gets quite passionate and there's lots of different views but everyone's good at respecting each other.

Former school: Malvern College

Studied: Philosophy & Ethics, Drama & Theatre, English Literature, Modern History

I found the transition to A Level quite daunting at first because of slightly different, doing more ethics and things like that but I really enjoyed the focus more on argument and on expressing your own opinion. There’s a lot more room for you to learn about what interests you or to demonstrate your own view. It’s a lot less restrictive or kind of fact-based than GCSE which I like.
I really enjoy the content and I enjoy the debate and things we have in class about it and it often gets quite passionate and there’s lots of different views but everyone’s good at respecting each other. I think the teaching is really inspiring too, its not just kind of dry book ethics we can really get involved in the kind of current issues which I enjoy.
