Dave Howard (1996-1998)

Dave Howard has very often given up his time to return to the College and talk about his career to our Media & Journalism students.
Dave began his career working freelance for local radio stations including BBC Hereford & Worcester. Specialising in Politics, he spent six months in New York as the US correspondent for Radio 1's Newsbeat before becoming Senior Reporter for the prize-winning Newsbeat team.
He features regularly on BBC Radio 4 and when he last visited the College he was just about to relocate to Scotland to cover the Scottish Referendum.

I love language and writing as a result of studying English at Hereford Sixth Form College. I liked the open, informal, almost university-feel to the College and I thrived on that.
