Communication & Culture; English Language; Spanish

Hereford Sixth Form College is brilliant. It has academically pushed me into a highly analytical and confident student.

Former School: Bishop of Hereford's Bluecoat School

Studied: A Level Communication & Culture, English Language, Sociology, AS Spanish

I decided on Hereford Sixth Form College because of the high reputation and the recommendations of friends who are at very good universities with the A Levels they achieved.

Sociology was my favourite subject. I found it really relevant in real life situations and it has made me question things a lot more - in a good way. I'm now studying Sociology and Anthropology at Durham University and in the future hope to work in the media and broadcasting, particularly documentaries.

I attended the debate society which is massively beneficial for Sociology, providing skills to contrast arguments on the relevant issues of today.

I was also part of the Student Representative Council. I found it important to be involved in something for the benefit of the College and the students - during my time at College as well as for future students.
