Computer Games Development and Digital Graphics

[equivalent to one GCSE]

This course is for learners who want to acquire sector-specific applied knowledge and skills through vocational contexts by studying project planning, data management, data interpretation, data presentation and data protection.  It is ideal for learners who want a career in IT and want to get a broad taste of digital skills or as a stepping stone to careers like IT Project Management, Technical Support and Cyber Security.

The units studied are:

  • Exploring User Interface Design Principles and Project Llanning Techniques

  • Collecting, Presenting and Interpreting Data

  • Effective Digital Working Practices

What can I do after the course?

This qualification is a good foundation for Information Technology - Creating Digital Solutions and Computer Games Development & Cyber Security at Level 3 and beyond.
