Student Representative Council

The SRC allows you to get involved in the planning and coordination of all aspects of student affairs, including student welfare, amenities and social activities. You will put forward the views of all students to the Principal and deal with requests, complaints and student finances. You will liaise with other student councils and with the National Union of Students regarding a variety of issues relating to the development of young people. The SRC will help you to develop the characteristics of responsibility, leadership and service to others.

The following are just a few examples of the SRC's past activities:

'Battle of the Bands', formal balls, fund-raising for local and national charities, the promotion of Fairtrade and the development of a recycling provision within the College.
