Library & Learning Resources Centre
The Library & Learning Resources Centre (LRC) is a thriving College resource housed in a modern, purpose-built teaching block. During term time it is open from 8.15am - 5.00pm, Monday - Friday and offers a wide range of information to help with your assignments. Resources include books, DVDs, music and audio CDs, journals, magazines and newspapers, most of which may be borrowed using your College ID card.
The Library subscribes to a number of online resources which are available via the College's VLE (Virtual Learning Environment). These include general reference resources: various dictionaries, encyclopaedias and InfoTrac (a database of newspaper and periodical articles), as well as subject specific resources: Digimap for Geography, Grove Art, Grove Music, E-Law and many others.
The computers in the Library are available on a drop-in basis and may be used for any College related activities. You are also welcome to work at the study tables or read quietly on the comfortable chairs. Other facilities include black & white and colour printers, scanners, a coin-operated photocopier, laminating and binding facilities and the Library shop, which stocks a wide range of stationery and equipment at very competitive prices.
The Library is staffed by a team of librarians who are always on hand to help you find the information you need.
