Student Representative Council
The SRC allows you to get involved in the planning and co-ordination
of all aspects of student affairs, including student welfare, amenities
and social activities. You put forward the views of all students to the
Principal and deal with requests from students. You liaise with other
student councils and with the National Union of Students regarding a
variety of issues relating to the development of young people. The SRC
helps you to develop the characteristics of responsibility, leadership
and service to others. The following are just a few examples of the
SRC’s past activities: fundraising for local and national charities,
arranging social events for students, securing improvements to the
catering provision and working with College staff in both curriculum
and campus developments.
