The Performing Arts Academy
For the more dramatically minded, the Theatre Studies department offers all College students the chance to improve your own acting skills by joining the Performing Arts Academy. You are offered coaching in acting and/or musical theatre, built into your own timetable, to prepare for an individual acting exam based on the delivery of monologues which can count towards UCAS points. Performing Arts Academy members can also use their coaching to work on National Youth Theatre auditions, Drama School auditions or just to work on developing acting/musical theatre skills and confidence. If you are interested in this opportunity you should approach the Drama and Theatre Studies department directly.
