The Search Committee's main purpose is to search for, scrutinise and recommend prospective Governors and co-opted non-governor members of Governors' Committees.

Terms of Reference

  • The Search Committee shall consist of the Chair of Governors, the Principal and two other Governors
  • Specific Quorum: three Governors
  • Co-option: The Search Committee shall have power to employ the services of such external advisors as it deems necessary. The Committee can co-opt any Governor who SHALL, when present, count towards the quorum
  • Search Committee's Terms of Reference:
    • To be responsible for nominating candidates for the approval of the Corporation to fill vacancies, and for determining the process whereby candidates are nominated
    • To consider and make recommendations to the Corporation on its composition and balance, and on the procedures for appointment to the Corporation
    • To consider and make recommendations to the Corporation on its composition and balance, and on the procedures for appointment to the Corporation
    • To consider the contribution of individual Governors before proposing re-appointment

The Servicing Officer is the Clerk to the Governors
