Important Notice: College IT Network 22nd-25th April
Due to essential network changes, some parts of the College network may be unavailable between 22nd-25th April. These include anything accessed via the website such as College email, the VLE and the student portal. Please ensure that you access all of the information you need for revision before the 22nd April. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Library Easter Opening Hours
The Library will be OPEN on Monday 14th - Thursday 17th and Tuesday 22nd - Friday 25th April, 10am to 4pm.

Trainee CAD Technician vacancies, Hereford
Mark Fenton Design Services have two trainee vacancies for a CAD Technician and Cladding Engineer. If you are interested in building design and construction and are confident with computers and have high concentration levels, this could be for you! Pay is £14,000 pa, Monday-Friday (8.30am-5pm). Mechanical Engineering Scholarships and Awards for Undergraduates and Apprentices (Deadline June 30th 2014)

The Institution of Mechanical Engineers is committed to supporting the educational and development needs of today’s undergraduates.

The undergraduate scholarships and awards offer assistance to students who are about to start on mechanical engineering degrees accredited by the Institution.

With mechanical engineering very much an international discipline, the Institution is committed to helping undergraduates gain experience of working and studying in a different country. To this end, the awards include scholarships and grants for academic and industrial placements abroad.

The Institution enjoys excellent associations with some of the biggest names in the engineering industry. The current Undergraduate Scholarship Scheme includes awards sponsored by AMEC, Eaton and Land Rover who as part of the scholarship are offering a scholarship/award to a student to assist them with their accredited degree-level programmes.

The Common’s Backbencher of the year 2012, member of the Treasury select Committee and leader of the 2012 Lords rebellion; he is ideally placed to give a real insight about how Parliament works.
