GCSE Mathematics - Foundation
This is a retake course if you have not achieved a C or above in GCSE Mathematics.
Qualifications
You will normally have taken GCSE Mathematics at your previous school. If you are studying AS levels at College and you have gained a D in the previous summer examinations, you will generally have the opportunity to retake GCSE Mathematics in November. Otherwise, you will work towards an examination at the end of the year. If you retake the subject in November but do not achieve a C grade, you will continue for the rest of the year and sit the exam again in June.
After the Course
A grade C in Mathematics is an expected qualification for higher education courses and is viewed as key by many employers.
