GCSE Science
This course is suitable for students who wish to improve the grade they obtained in Science. It is also suitable for students who have not taken an external exam in Science.
Qualifications
There are no specific entry requirements for this course, but you do need to have an interest in science.
Modules
GCSE Science is based on the Key Stage 4 programme of study for science. The course contains 12 topics that cover Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
GCSE Modules
- B1 Biology
- P1 Physics
- C1 Chemistry
External Assessments make up 60% of the final mark and internal assessments makes up 40% of the final mark.
After the Course
GCSE Science is required for a range of technical careers and for higher education courses, including teaching and nursing.
