GCSE Health & Social Care (Double Award)

student taking part in Health & Social Care (Double Award)

There are many different things that can affect your health and well-being, from your work life to a balanced diet. You will learn to recognise poor health factors, how to put these right, and how these factors change and develop with age. Additionally you will examine the complex world of health and social care providers and what services are available to different client groups.

While this is a vocationally-focused course you need to be aware that two thirds of the assessment is through coursework which requires academic writing.
