GCSE Dance
As with all subjects, this course is open to male and female students. It is available to you in your first or second year at College. This course would suit you if you are interested in ballet, modern or contemporary dance, but it is not ballet-orientated.
Qualifications
You will need some dance experience and a keen interest in contemporary dance is essential.

Study Visits / Fieldwork
There will be workshops during the year with visiting dance companies and the opportunity to see performances by professional dance companies.
After the Course
Dance provides a good foundation for further study in related subject areas such as Theatre Studies, Music, Dance, Drama.
