AS/A Level Physics

student taking part in Physics

At its heart, Physics is about finding things out - about what lies behind everyday phenomena such as rainbows and red sunsets, as well as the more revolutionary concepts of quantum theory, relativity and cosmology. Physics also forms the basis of much of present and future technology.

Grade B (or better) in Maths is also required, and you will be expected to pass a Maths test in the first week of the course. You do not have to take A level Maths, but it helps.
