AS/A Level Music Technology

The course will develop your skills in computer sequencing and digital recording techniques as well as your composing and arranging skills. You will be working in a state-of-the-art music computer suite and a recording studio with high quality digital recording equipment.

Qualifications

Although you will not be assessed in performing on this course, a musical background will help, as will a moderate level of keyboard and IT skills. Music theory knowledge is essential.

  • Composition, Digital Recording and Producing (A2)

After the Course

The course can lead to higher education degrees and HNDs in Performing and Community Arts, Acoustics, Media Studies and many other related subject areas. It can also lead to work in the recording industry and films, and to freelance composing/ pre-production work.
