AS/A Level Chemistry (2012-13)
AS/A Level Chemistry

Chemistry tries to explain the properties of substances in terms of atoms, molecules and ions. You will need to learn and understand a lot of theory but this will be supported by practical work whenever possible.
Qualifications
As a minimum, you will require B grades in both GCSE Science and Additional Science (or in two separate sciences, including Chemistry). You should also have at least a grade B in GCSE Maths and a grade C in English.

AS or A level Chemistry is essential or desirable for a wide range of higher education Science courses and is highly regarded as a basis for any nonscientific course or career.
