Gender Equality Duty
New laws from April 2007 place a duty on public bodies to promote gender equality. This new legal duty means that we need to look actively at ways of ensuring that men and women are treated equally.
We have prepared our College's Gender Equality Scheme. Current staff and students have participated by giving us feedback on their experiences at College. We would also value contributions from parents, from students who are considering applying to join the College next year, and from the wider community.

The whole point of the Gender Equality Scheme is to put in place practical improvements for men and women to close the gaps in opportunity they may face.
